Saudi Arabia has accepted 3,800 Syrian students who arrived with visit visa and accommodated them in various schools in the capital of Riyadh, local Al Hayat newspaper reported on Monday.
The Syrian students, among them 1,900 are boys and 2,000 are girls, were accepted out of considerations of their situations and they were arranged to study in schools close to their residence, an official at the General Directorate of Education, Aymen Al Rukban, told the newspaper.
He added that a central committee was formed to look into the documents of those students to decide which education level they should join.
