Senior diplomats of South Korea, Japan and the United States will meet next week in Japan for coordination of policy towards the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), local media reported Wednesday.
South Korea's chief nuclear negotiator Lim Sung-nam, his Japanese counterpart Shinsuke Sugiyama, and Glyn Davies, the U.S. special envoy for DPRK policy, will gather in Tokyo for two-day talks starting next Tuesday, according to Yonhap News Agency.
During their first meeting in five months, the Japanese envoy is expected to brief his counterparts on the outcome of Japan's working-level talks in August with the DPRK, the first such talks in four years.
