Senior CPC official meets Laotian guests

A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) met with a delegation from the ruling Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) on Friday.
Liu Yunshan, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the CPC Central Committee's Publicity Department, hailed the friendship and cooperation between the two nations during his meeting with the delegation led by Thongsy Ouanlasy, deputy head of the LPRP's discipline inspection body.
The Chinese side is willing, as always, to work together with the Lao side to comprehensively boost cooperation in politics, economy, culture, technology, education and law enforcement, among other areas, in order to benefit the people of the two nations.
Ouanlasy echoed Liu's remarks, saying the Lao side will further increase exchanges and cooperation with China.
