The fifth meeting of the leaders of China, Japan and the Republic of Korea (ROK) will be held in Beijing from May 13 to 14, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said on Wednesday.
Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao will chair the meeting, Hong told a regular press conference, and President of the ROK Lee Myung-bak and Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda will attend the meeting.
Cooperation among China, Japan and the ROK has developed rapidly with remarkable results, Hong said, noting that he believes that the meeting will further boost trilateral cooperation through their joint efforts.
