Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will pay an official visit to China from May 10 to 11 at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Yang Jiechi, Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said Monday in Beijing.
Lavrov is scheduled to attend a meeting of the foreign ministers of Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states, Hong said.
