Former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak appeared in court Thursday for the fifth time, along with his two sons and former Interior Minister Habib el-Adli.
Two new witnesses will testify in this session.
The trial started at 10:30 a.m. (0830 GMT) amid intensive security measures, although few protestors appeared outside the Police Academy in a suburb of Cairo, where the trial is being held.
Cairo Criminal Court Wednesday summoned chairman of the ruling Supreme Council of the Armed Forces, Hussein Tantawi, for the sixth session Sunday. He will testify in camera about the killing of protestors during the massive anti-government protests earlier this year.
