According to official Middle East News Agency, cabinet Spokesman Mohamed Hegazi said the interior Minister Mansour el- Eissawi has coordinated with Health Minister Amr Helmi on the necessary arrangements of Mubarak's trial.
Head of the Cairo Criminal Court Ahmed Refaat who is presiding the trial said the trial will be conducted daily from Aug. 3 until conclusion, and will be a swift one.
He also said that the trial sessions will be aired live on the Egyptian Television. Journalists and representatives from Egyptian, Arabic and foreign media could attend the trial.
Mubarak's medical team said Friday that the ex-President's "vital signs are almost stable". But they have no comments on whether the former leader is fit to stand the trail.
