At least ten people were killed when a passenger bus was attacked Saturday in Pakistan's northwest Hangu district, reported local Urdu TV channel Geo.
According to the report, the incident took place in the Upper Karram area of Hangu where is some 80 kilometers southwest of Peshawar when some unknown gunmen fired at a bus heading towards Nowshera from Kurram Agency, a tribal area bordering Afghanistan.
Seven people including three women were killed on the spot.
Police and rescue team reached the site following the attack was reported and all the injured people were rushed to nearby hospital. Three of the injured people died later at hospital.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
