Chinese ambassador in Sanaa denied the media reports that his convey came under attack by Yemeni government supporters on Sunday, the ambassador Liu Denglin told Xinhua on Monday.
Liu said that his convey was intercepted by roadblock set up by Yemeni government supporters in Sanaa on Sunday, but the group did not launch any attack on his convey or any embassy staff.
After a short negotiation, those supporters moved the roadblock away and let his convey pass through, without causing any damage, he said.
