Six people were killed and 23 others injured Saturday when a suicide attack rocked Afghanistan's main military hospital in the capital city of Kabul, a statement of Afghan Defense Ministry said.
"At around 12:10 p.m. local time, a suicide attack occurred in a tent inside 400-bed Mohammad Daud Military Hospital, as a result six personnel of the hospital were killed and 23 others injured," said the statement.
Saturday's blast is the second attack inside Afghan military installation over the past couple of weeks.
Two army soldiers and an officer were killed when a suicide bomber opened fire inside Afghan Defense Ministry on April 18.
No group or individuals have yet claimed responsibility for Saturday's attack on the military hospital.
Taliban-led insurgency has been rampant since the militant group announced on April 30 to start spring offensive against Afghan and NATO-led international forces from May 1.
