Chinese State Councilor Dai Bingguo arrived in Budapest Thursday for the second round of China-EU strategic dialogue and a visit to Hungary from May 12-15.

Dai and Catherine Ashton, high representative for foreign affairs and security policy and vice president of the European Commission, will co-chair the China-EU dialogue at Godollo, 30 km from Budapest.

The talks will cover the latest developments in the international situation and China-EU ties.

The first round of the China-EU dialogue was held in southwest China's Guizhou province last September.
