China sent a second batch of humanitarian aid to Japan on Monday to support disaster relief assistance in the country, the Ministry of Commerce said.
The relief materials included 60,000 bottles of mineral water and 3.25 million pairs of rubber gloves. The shipment weighed 96 tonnes and was 473 cubic meters in size.
The Chinese government sent Japan the first batch of relief materials, including blankets, tents and emergency lights on March 14, three days after the massive earthquake and tsunami hit Japan.
The ministry said the last shipment of humanitarian aid, which includes rubber gloves, temporary toilets and shoes, will also be flown to Japan after relevant procedures are completed.
