Japanese Police: Death toll rises to 10,066

The National Police Agency said Friday that the twin disasters of the catastrophic March 11 earthquake and ensuing tsunami have left 10,066 people dead and 17, 452 others unaccounted for in Japan by 6:00 p.m.(0900 GMT).
