Three soldiers with the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) were killed on Monday in seperate incidents in Afghanistan, ISAF said.
"An International Security Assistance Force service member died following an insurgent attack in eastern Afghanistan today," a press release of ISAF said.
Earlier in the day NATO confirmed loss of two other soldiers in two separate Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blasts in eastern and southern Afghanistan.
However, the statements did not reveal the nationalities of the victims, saying it is ISAF policy to defer casualty identification procedures to the relevant national authorities.
Over 60 NATO soldiers, most of them Americans, have been killed in Afghanistan since the beginning this year.
A total of 711 foreign soldiers were killed in 2010 in the post- Taliban Afghanistan.
