Emergency meeting of Gulf FMs to be held in Bahrain

Foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) will hold an emergency meeting in Bahrain Thursday night to discuss protests that have erupted in the tiny Gulf country, Dubai-based Al-Arabiya TV reported, citing senior officials.

The TV said the meeting will be as a gesture of support for Bahrain.

The GCC is a political and economic bloc including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and Bahrain.
