Two NATO soldiers were killed in south Afghanistan on Saturday, a statement released by the alliance said.
"Two International Security Assistance Force service members died following separate improvised explosive device (IED) attacks in southern Afghanistan today,"the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) confirmed in the statement.
However, it did not reveal the nationalities of the victims, saying it is ISAF policy to defer casualty identification procedures to the relevant national authorities.
