Deputy Secretary James B. Steinberg will lead a high-level delegation to China on December 14-17, according to a press release of the U.S. Department of State Tuesdday.

The delegation consists of National Security Council Senior Director for Asian Affairs Jeffrey Bader, Assistant Secretary of State for East Asia and Pacific Affairs Kurt Campbell, and Special Envoy Sung Kim.

They will meet senior Chinese officials and exhange views on the situation on the Korean Peninsula and other regional security issues.
