5.9-magnitude quake hits Gulf of California

An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale jolted the Gulf of California at 0409 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) reported.
The epicenter of the quake was at a depth of 13.20 km. There has so far been no report of casualties or damages.
