Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych on Wednesday dismissed two Deputy Prime ministers in a move to meet amendments of the country's constitution, the presidential office said in a statement posted on its website.
The government should have three deputy prime ministers instead of current five, according to the constitution.
Yanukovych dismissed Viktor Slauta, who was responsible for agrarian sector and Vladimir Sivkovych, who was in charge of interior and military issues.
According to Yanukovych's order, Sivkovych was appointed as a deputy head of National Security and Defense Council. Slauta has got a post of president's advisor.
