China's Special Envoy on the Middle East Wu Sike will make visits to Jordan, Israel, Palestine, Turkey and Egypt from Oct.11 to Oct.23.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Jiang Yu made the announcement here Thursday at a regular press conference.

During Wu's visit, he will exchange views with parties concerned on the latest development of the Middle East affairs, and make efforts to encourage talks and make peace, Jiang said.
