One civillian was killed and nine others were injured in an explosion which was allegedly targetting NATO troops Saturday in southern Afghanistan' s restive Kandahar province, local government official said.
Zalmay Ayubi, spokesman for Kandahar's provincial administration, told Xinhua that the car bombing, which took place in Kandahar city, capital of the province, was believed to be against the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) .
No information on the NATO casualty could be reached so far, said the official.
Kandahar, dubbed Taliban's hotbed, has been seeing increase of violence recently.
