A soldier with the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) was killed on Sunday following insurgent attack in Afghanistan's restive southern region, bringing to six the number of alliance casualties since Saturday, ISAF said in a press release.
"An International Security Assistance Force service member died following insurgent attack in southern Afghanistan today," the press release added.
Hours earlier ISAF confirmed the dead of two more soldiers in separate but similar attack in Afghanistan's east on Saturday.
Three more soldiers were also killed in south Afghanistan on the same day Saturday.
Taliban militants in coordinated raids attacked two NATO base in Afghanistan's eastern Khost province on Saturday.
However, the press releases did not reveal the nationalities of the victims by saying "It is ISAF policy to defer casualty identification procedures to the relevant national authorities".
Over 460 NATO-led soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan since beginning this year.
