Some 52 persons lost their lives during a series of clashes between troops and "red-shirt" protestors from May 14 to 20, the Erawan's Bangkok Emergency Medical Service Center told Xinhua late Thursday.
Some 401 others were wounded, bringing the total casualties to 453 during these 7 days, the Erawan center said.
The Center for the Resolution of Emergency Situation (CRES) said some armed men have still hidden in buildings around the Rajprasong area and attacked the innocent people, security forces, rescue teams, and fire fighters.
During Wednesday's riot totally 36 places in Thailand's capital Bangkok were set on fire.
