European Commission President to visit China

European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso will pay an official visit to China from April 29 to May 1 at the invitation of Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu made the announcement in Beijing Thursday at a regular press conference.
