India Friday condemned the bombing and shooting attacks by Taliban militants in the Afghan capital Kabul early Friday morning, in which at least four Indians were feared killed.
Indian External Affairs Ministry spokesman Vishnu Prakesh told the media that the Indian mission in Kabul is in touch with the Indians there and seeking details about the Indians reportedly killed.
The local TV channel Times Now earlier quoted foreign ministry sources as saying that 10 Indians were killed in the two attacks on a hotel and a guest house in central Kabul, in which five militants staged suicide attacks and shot people with automatic rifles.
But local media reports said at least four Indians were among the 17 people killed in the attacks.
