U.S. President Barack Obama left Tokyo for Singapore to attend a summit of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum on Saturday afternoon after two-day stay in Japan.
It was Obama's first visit to Japan since assuming office in January. During his visit, he held a summit with Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama and delivered a speech on U.S. policy toward Asia.
Obama's visit was part of his swing through Asia, which will also take him to Singapore, China and South Korea.
