Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will visit China from Oct. 12-14 for the 14th bilateral prime ministers' regular meeting with Premier Wen Jiabao, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Jiang Yu announced Tuesday.
During his stay, Putin is also scheduled to attend a grand ceremony marking the 60th anniversary of China-Russia diplomatic ties and the closing ceremony of the "Year of the Russian Language".
Prior to Putin's trip, Chinese Vice Premier Wang Qishan is to hold the fifth meeting of bilateral energy negotiations with Russian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin, and the 13th conference of a joint commission for the regular prime ministers' meetings with his Russian counterpart Alexander Zhukov, in Beijing from Oct. 11-12, respectively.
Chinese State Councilor Liu Yandong will attend the 10th session of a China-Russia committee on humanitarian cooperation with Zhukov in Dalian, northeast Liaoning Province.
