DPRK leader: Nuclear weapons guarantee peace

The DPRK's leader Kim Jong-un has said that the country's nuclear weapons act as a deterrent to potential aggressors.

His remarks came in a speech delivered to the central committee of the Workers Party of Korea on Sunday. Kim also said that nuclear weapons act as a foundation for the country's development and protect the country's sovereignty.
