A large fire has broken out at a Syrian refugee camp in northern Jordan, causing widespread damage.
Officials say there've been no injuries or fatalities in the blaze at the Zaatari camp. It was apparently caused when residents tried to connect high tension electricity cables to their tents.
The Zaatari camp is now home to over 100-thousand Syrians. There've been several fires at the camp in recent months, including one where a Syrian refugee died.
The overcrowded camp is said to be stretching Jordan's resources. Conditions have deteriorated since it opened last July. There've been several incidents of rioting and clashes with Jordanian police.
