The DPRK has set no-fly and no-sail zones off its east and west coasts, in an indication that it will soon hold major military drills.

This comes from South Korea's Yonhap news agency, which says the DPRK is preparing for large-scale combined military exercises. The report also says that the test firing of short-to-medium-range missiles can't be ruled out.

On Tuesday, one of the DPRK's top generals announced Pyongyang had nullify its armistice deal with Washington, and threatened military action against the US and South Korea if their joint military exercises went ahead. DPRK soldiers and citizens have pledged their support to this supreme command.

Tokgo Yong-Jae, Officer, Korean People's Army, said, "We don't say empty words. If we say to strike, we strike. Also if we fight, we'll definitely win. This is the combat spirit of our revolutionary forces hardened by the military-first generals of Mount Paektu. The enemies harming our sovereignty and dignity will never be able to escape from our attack."

DPRK citizen said, "We are going to carry out holy war to strike the enemy with weapons which we hold in our hearts. That will happen when the Dear Marshal Kim Jong Un gives the command."
