Four Chinese marine surveillance ships have arrived in waters around the Diaoyu Islands to continue patrol and law enforcement missions according to the State Oceanic Administration.

Japan's Kyodo News Agency and broadcaster NHK have both reported sightings of the Chinese ships by the Japanese coast guard. The reports say the ships were sailing near the Diaoyu Islands at around 8am Saturday morning.
