Day two of the London 2012 Paralympic Games is underway with gold already awarded at the velodrome and Australia secured the day's first gold in women's blind and visually impaired tandem one kilometer time-trial at the Velodrome.
The British pair Aileen Mcglynn and pilot Helen Scott set the fastest time in the women's blind and visually impaired one k time trial, but Australian world champions Felicity Johnson and pilot Stephanie Morton from Australia overhauled them in the final run to grab gold by 0.55 seconds. It’s Australia's fourth gold of the Games.
