China's vice president Xi Jinping has attended a trade forum with California Governor Jerry Brown and the mayor of Los Angeles at the end of his five-day visit to the US.
Xi Jinping told the LA forum that the world's No. 2 economy will continue to boost domestic demand while directing investment towards the United States. He added that the Chinese economy would experience stable growth and avoid a hard landing in 2012.
