China has grabbed another gold medal at the 2011 World Universiade in the southern city of Shenzhen. So far China ranks second in the medal tally, following Japan.

19-year-old gymnast Xiao Kangjun won the women's all-around on Monday. She was the only Chinese athlete competing in the final. The early favorite Jo Hyunjoo of South Korea injured her neck after falling off the uneven bars. China currently has claimed six gold medals, two silver and five bronze.
