Gala tribute to CPC founding anniversary

A series of gala performances organized by the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles has been staged recently. The shows, staged to pay tribute to the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, included a concert, a dance performance and a variety show.

The theme concert gathered famous singers that are outstanding figures in their own style. Songs of folk style, opera style and pop style were preformed to express the singers' love for the country and affection towards the Communist Party of China.
Yin Xiumei, singer, said, "I was deeply moved when singing this song. The party built such a good life for us, our gratitude will pass on from generation to generation."
Some singers said they have spent a long time to choose the perfect song for such a special occasion.
Lv Jihong, singer, said, "I picked two songs for today's performance. One of them memorizes the old times with friends in the army, the other tells about people's lives in today's China. Sometimes we look back in order to look better into the future."
Cheng Fangyuan, singer, said, "I chose to sing 'Love for China'. This is my way to express my love for our motherland."
In the theme dancing performance and variety show, artists also delivered their love and blessings to the 90th birthday of the CPC in their own artistic ways.
