The heavy rainstorms plaguing the country's central and southern regions are finally showing signs of stopping. The China Meteorological Administration lifted its torrential rain warning on Sunday morning.

But according to the national weather forecast, precipitation will continue to fall in Anhui, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Hubei, Hunan, and Guangdong provinces. The previous round of rain inflicted severe damage on those areas, with 2 people reported dead in Hubei, 2 more missing, and at least 3 million affected overall.
