Touching moments highlight 2011 CBA all-star game

Zhang's proposal brought the crowd to it's feet and for the all-star it was the perfect moment.

Zhang Qingpeng, Xinjiang Guard said "Basketball gives me everything. I also dedicate myself to basketball. I hope to use this dedication to engage my life's other half. To me, it's the most appropriate of occasions."

Jiangsu's Wu Nan also delivered a special message prior to taking part in the slam dunk contest. Wu wrote on his jersey words of support for his teammate Meng Da, whose mother passed away on Sunday.

Wu, letting Meng know that the Jiangsu team is with him as he deals with this very difficult time.

And on a night filled with touching momnets, former NBA star Stephon Marbury and CBA legend Mengke Bateer also made one of their own.

As they were introduced, they shared the spotlight with young school children.
