In Japan, a fresh three-meter-high tsunami is rolling towards the country's disaster-shattered north-east coast.

Local authorities say the new tsunami could be up to a height of three-meters and have issued an alert. Meanwhile, there has been a hydrogen blast at the Number 3 nuclear reactor in Fukushima, according to the Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency.

Authorities confirm the reactor's inner containment vessel holding nuclear rods is intact, allaying fears of the risk to the environment and public. But the safety agency has urged 6-hundred local residents to stay indoors.

More than 180-thousand people have evacuated the area. At the same time, some 2-thousand bodies have been found on two shores of Miyagi prefecture.
