Tuesday marks the second day of the joint military exercises between South Korea and the US.

Code named Key Resolve, the drills will run through March 10th. It's set to be a command post exercise for expanded US forces in case of an attack on the Korean Peninsula.

Meanwhile, Foal Eagle, which are the joint field exercises, will end March 30th.

At the same time, Japan and the US kicked off their second day of joint maneuvers. This drill is the duo's first simulated exercise aimed at intercepting ballistic missiles.
