To keynote this week's Spring Festival celebrations in Australia, the aerial tumbling show "Mulan" has been dazzling both local residents, and Chinese compatriots, at the State Theater in Sydney.
Performed by the Chongqing Acrobatic Troupe, the display combines their most intriguing stunts, dances, and martial arts moves, to tell a story popular in China for a thousand years. "Mulan" is about a girl who disguises herself as a boy to join the army on behalf of her sick father. Sydney is the last stop on the tour. The cast previously soared above the stage in Melbourne. Ticket prices range from 50 to 80 Australian dollars, or about 350 to 560 RMB. Four revues are scheduled from Thursday through Sunday.
