Investigators are examining the wreckage of a Russian airliner, which made an emergency landing at a Moscow airport. Two people were killed and nearly 90 others were injured in the incident.
Investigators are looking for the cause of the crash at Moscow's Domodedovo Airport.
They say two engines failed shortly after the aircraft took off and its third engine cut out as the plane was making an emergency landing.
The plane, a Tupolev Tu-154 belongs to Dagestan Airlines. It skidded off the snowy runway, ran through trees and broke into three parts.
Alexander Neradko, Head of Dederal Agency for Air Transport, said, "All three engines on the plane stopped working. Then came a report that generators and navigation equipment stopped functioning."
The cause of the engine failure is still unclear, but recent crashes involving the aging Tu-154 aircraft have prompted the Russian carrier Aeroflot to stop using them.
Officials say at least 155 people were aboard when it attempted to make an emergency landing.
Passenger of Flight, said, "We thought we would land, but I didn't think the landing would be as it was."
The plane had taken off from another Moscow hub, Vnukovo Airport, and was en route to the southern city of Makhachkala.
The Tu-154 was the same type of plane that crashed in April, killing Polish President Lech Kaczynski and 90 others on board.
