At least six people have been killed in an explosion in an Internet cafe in southwest China's Guizhou Province. More than 34 others have been injured.

The explosion happened on Saturday evening in an Internet cafe in the downtown area of the Kaili City under the juridiction of Qiandongnan Miao-Dong Autonomous Prefecture.

Victims have been pulled out of the debris and the injured rushed to hospitals. The police are investigating the cause of the explosion and search and rescue work is still underway.
