The 10th World Santa Claus championships has taken place in the Swiss Alps, with more than 100 Santas taking part.

Working in teams, entrants take on the daunting tasks of chimney climbing, sleigh racing, giving presents and karaoke all in a day.

The Santa Claus world championships represent top level sport in the ever-competitive sporting arena of Christmas competitions, and they gathered in snowy Switzerland to test their seasonal skills.

Celebrating its tenth year, 23 teams from seven different countries participated in this year's competition.
