The DPRK has, once again, urged South Korea to hold bilateral working talks on the resumption of cross-border tours to Mount Kumgang.
The DPRK has expressed great regret at Seoul's delay of nearly 50 days in replying to Pyongyang's three previous notices proposing the talks. On Wednesday, Seoul urged Pyongyang to withdraw its April freeze and seizure of South Korean facilities at the Mount Kumgang resort. The DPRK will send officials to negotiate with South Korea on the resumption of the tour program when the two sides hold a new round of Red Cross Talks scheduled for November 25th.
