The China Fashion Week continues in Beijing as emerging Chinese fashion designers demonstrate their understanding of the latest trends on the runway.

Designer Wu Qingqing stands out with his clean-cut style that's rich in asymmetry and the contrast of colors.

Wu's label VLOV -- being showcased here by models sashaying down the runway -- is greatly inspired by modern day architecture. His couture line accentuates simplicity and even minimalism.

Rococo style is seen everywhere in Wu's works, complemented by the stark contrast of colors like black and white. The designer reveals that white means the leisure and pleasure of the urban life, and black symbolizes refinement, calm, and serenity.

Wu Qingqing said, "The designs are ready-to-wear dresses. They'll be available for middle-class customers in the near future."

China Fashion Week was initiated in 1997. Through efforts and improvements over 13 years, China Fashion Week has built itself into a professional service platform for introducing fashion trends, generating innovative designs, and nurturing young hopefuls.
