60 panda protectors, have been selected among more than 61 thousands applicants across the world in Chengdu.

From the 60 winners, six will be selected as Panda ambassadors. The voting for the last half dozen, will be done by people online. Contestants, need to show their affection and understanding of pandas, though written letters and videos. Among the 60 contestants, 17 are Chinese. They ALL hope to help protect pandas. The final winners will spend a month working with the animals, getting paid one thousand dollars.
