Henan airlines has held a news conference in Yichun to release the latest information on the plane crash on Tuesday evening which killed 42 people and injured 54 others. Henan airlines officials have expressed their deep regret to the media and say the company feels very sorry for the victims and everyone involved.

Liu Hang, President of Board of Supervisors, Henan Airlines, said, "Henan airlines will try its best in rescue and compensation work after the crash. We feel very sorry about the plane crash, it is sad. The chairman of the Henan airlines is now visiting the family members of the victims. And I want to apologize to the victims, apologize to the family members, apologize to the people who injured in the crash. And I want to apologize to the entire society."
