The second round of the China-US Strategic and Economic Dialogue kicks off in Beijing on Monday. Nearly 50 officials in charge of various sectors, of the two countries, are attending the meeting.

This year, the two countries will discuss energy security, climate change, UN peace-keeping and anti-terrorism. The dialogue, aims to achieve a developing China-US economic partnership with mutual benefits. Topics on economy include promoting the economic recovery, boosting healthy trade and investment, enhancing a stable financial market and its reform, as well as international financial system reform.
