Chinese President Hu Jintao and his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev have met in Moscow. They discussed ways of strengthening bilateral strategic relationships of cooperation and partnership.
The meeting was the 2nd between the two leaders in less than a month.
Hu Jintao is in Moscow for commemorations marking the 65th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War over Nazi Germany.
He said the commemorations were wonderful and splendid, fully testifying to the strength of the peace-loving Russian people in building their country.
Medvedev said Russia and China share similar views on the history of World War II, and the attendance of the two heads of states at the commemorations was of great significance.
