New vision at London Fashion Week

"Being skinny" and "back in shape" are hot topics among women aspiring to beauty and fashion. But model thin is not always in.
Hot on the heels of 2010 New York fashion week comes London's turn on the catwalk. Designers, super models, and fashion buyers gather from across the world.
Under eyeliner and flashing lights, the taste of beauty has been expanding. Designers are directing to a much healthier approach, with more "curves and smiles" on the Fashion Week runways.
Bora Aksu, Designer, said, "The past couple of seasons has said the girls coming to casting look much more healthier and happier somehow. "
Since the sudden deaths of several extremely skinny models in 2007, the London fashion committee has attempted to establish a healthier beauty image and change "the thinner the prettier" preconception.
The blind pursue of skinny is changing among models.
Naomi Campbell, Super Model, said, "I think the bigger the better."
Some famous British department stores are displaying more proportional mannequins. And some agents are specializing in models with curves to encourage a healthier lifetstyle among young females.
